Effective Non-Surgical Cancer Options In Southern California

Orange County CyberKnife and Radiation Oncology Center is the most experienced radiation cancer treatment center in the region. Our team of radiosurgical specialists can treat cancerous or noncancerous tumors throughout your body using the most advanced treatment options available. Orange County CyberKnife has established itself as the trusted choice of area doctors for their patients’ radiation oncology needs.

Providing Real Hope

About half of all cancer cases are treatable with radiation, on its own, or in conjunction with other forms of treatment. The staff at Orange County CyberKnife understand that “radiation” can sound intimidating, but it is one of the safest, most effective methods of treating cancers. It works because dividing cancer cells are more vulnerable to the effects of radiation than normal cells. With CyberKnife, radiation beams can be focused very precisely, helping to effectively treat all types of cancer and minimizing the exposure to surrounding healthy tissue.

A Highly-Trained Team Approach To CyberKnife Treatment Planning

To ensure the best care for patients, our physicists, dosimetrists, radiation therapists, and radiation oncologists work together to develop the most appropriate treatment plan for radiation delivery. Our physicians will use all available diagnostic studies (e.g. CT, MRI, PET) to help determine your specific situation. After thorough review of all data, your physicians will discuss treatment, along with the benefits and risks, with you and your family.

On-Site Diagnostic Imaging

Through a leading medical imaging center, we have easy access right in our building to the full range of diagnostic exams you will need for treatment planning, including 64-slice CAT Scan (CT), MRI, and PET Scans. Our team of experts has the necessary qualifications and experience to maximize the usefulness of these images as well, ensuring you receive the best treatment options possible. For patients who don’t live near our Center, all we need is a digital copy of your images or an Internet connection and we’ll have your images pushed straight to our radiation oncology team of experts.

Radiosurgical Team Collaboration With Your Physician Team

At Orange County CyberKnife, we work closely with our patients’ specialists or primary-care doctors keeping them involved in your treatment to ensure integrated care.
